MG Motor India has officially teased its next CUV(Crossover Utility Vehicle), which will be unveiled in September this year. The automaker will reveal its India-spec variant, known as the Windsor EV.
What we know so far
The new MG Windsor EV, also known as the Wuling Cloud EV in worldwide markets, has been spotted testing many times across the country and is expected to compete with the BYD e6 MPV. The vehicle is available in foreign markets with two battery pack options: a 50.6kWh unit with a range of 460 km and a 37.9kWh unit with a range of 360 km, both on a single full charge. OH! On the design front, the 2024 Windsor EV is expected to have LED light bars in the front and rear, a split headlight design, chunky alloy wheels, front door-mounted ORVMs, an integrated spoiler, squared LED taillights, and flush-fitting door handles.
Inside, it appears to have a dual-screen system that dominates the dashboard, automatic climate control, ADAS suite, 360-degree camera, connected car technologies, and powered seats. A few features have already been verified, like the panoramic sunroof and two-spoke steering wheel.
