Unlike the ordinary C-Class, the AMG-spec vehicle has a grille with vertical slats and dynamic shutters that open or close in response to the engineโ€™s cooling requirements. The aggressively redesigned front and rear bumpers increase the carโ€™s length by 83 mm, while the performance version is 76mm wider than the regular sedan due to the bigger front wheel arches. By default, alloy 20-inch wheels are lightweight.

The V8 engine that powered the preceding C63 is no longer there. A 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine with 476 horsepower and 545 Nm, coupled to a 9-speed automated transmission, has occurred. A rear axle-mounted electric motor with a maximum output of 204 horsepower and 320 Nm is connected to the engine. The total maximum output is 680 horsepower and an astounding 1,020 Nm of torque. The turbine spools more quickly thanks to Mercโ€™s turbocharger, which combines technology from Formula One and includes an electric motor powered by a 400V electrical system.

All four wheels receive power from the 4Matic+ system, which has a drift mode. The C 63 S E Performance is said to reach 100 kph in 3.4 seconds. The C 63 comes equipped with the standard AMG Driverโ€™s Package, often offered as an option. The maximum speed is 280 kph.

The C 63โ€™s electric-only range is up to 13 kilometers thanks to its 6.1kWh battery pack, which weighs 89 kg. Additionally included is four-wheel steering, which permits the rear wheels to move up to 2.5 degrees in the opposite direction (up to 100 kph) and up to 0.7 degrees in the same direction at higher speeds. The new C 63 has three settings for its adaptive damping system (Comfort, Sport, and Sport+) and eight drive modes (Electric, Comfort, Battery Hold, Sport, Sport+, RACE, Slippery, and Individual).
