Maruti Dzire

The brand-new Maruti Dzire has been sighted in the wild, revealing almost all of its external details.

The most recent Dzire, which shares its Heartect platform with the Swift, will be more distinct from it than its predecessors. The front bumper of Maruti’s compact car will have a sportier appearance, thin headlamps, a blacked-out horizontally slatted grille.

The sedan will stand out from other sedan even more thanks to new alloy wheel designs; wraparound LED taillights, and a boot that appears to be larger than its predecessor and has more angular creases.

The addition of a sunroof is another significant distinction. The interior of the new Dzire will, nevertheless, remain mostly similar to that of the Swift, although with brighter colors to create a lighter, airier interior. A climate control system, an analog instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch digital MID, and a 9-inch free-standing touchscreen are anticipated to be included in the top-spec versions’ feature list.

The 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z Series petrol engine from the Swift will be used in the New Dzire. With petrol, this motor produces 82 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque in the hatchback; with compressed natural gas, it delivers 69.75 horsepower and 101.8 Nm. The CNG vehicles will only have a manual transmission, whereas the petrol versions will have both an AMT and a 5-speed manual.

The Dzire is anticipated to be on sale around Diwali, and the prices of the CNG version may be revealed later.
