The Indian automaker Mahindra and Mahindra has declared that the new Thar Roxx, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and XUV 400 EV have received a 5-star safety certification for protecting both adult and kid occupants in the Bharat NCAP crash tests. With the highest scores ever given to an ICE vehicle, the Thar Roxx is noteworthy for being the first body-on-frame SUV to receive a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.

The Thar Roxx SUV received 45 out of 49 points for kid protection and 31.09 out of 32 points for adult occupant protection. Bharat NCAP tested the Thar Roxx’s AX5L and MX3 versions. Auto-dimming iRVM, all four disc brakes, hill climb and descent help, traction control, six airbags, ESC, three-point seat belts for every passenger, Level 2 ADAS with ten functions, 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, obstacle vision, and more are among the safety features that come standard on the Roxx.

Bharat NCAP crash tests: XUV 3XO
In the Bharat NCAP crash test, the XUV 3XO, a subcompact SUV, received five-star ratings for adult and child occupant safety. The 3X0 scored 29.36 out of 32 on the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) test and 43 out of 49 on the Child Occupant Protection (COP) test. All models are equipped with six airbags, rear disc brakes, ESP, and ISOFIX anchors for safety. Higher-end models come equipped with a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, Hill-start and hill descent assistance, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and Level 2 ADAS, which is a first for the sector.

In the Bharat NCAP crash test, the all-electric XUV 400 EV received five-star ratings for protecting both adult and child occupants. In the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) test, the 400 EV received 30.38 points out of 32, while in the Child Occupant Protection (COP) test, it received 43 points out of 49.
