Kia only offered the fully equipped GT-Line version of the Kia EV9 electric SUV when it first debuted in India, pricing it at Rs 1.3 crore. Moving up from the EV6, the EV9 will be available as a CBU and will become Kia’s flagship vehicle in the region.
Kia EV9: Exterior and Interior Styling
The Kia EV9 features a closed-off grille with integrated digital pattern lighting and vertically stacked LED headlights with L-shaped DRLs. It has vertical LED taillamps with a relatively tidy tailgate, a spoiler, and a dual-tone bumper with a skid plate. The SUV is 5,015mm in length, 1,980mm in width, stands 1,780mm high, and has a wheelbase of 3,100mm.

The EV9’s interior includes a dual-screen display with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster of a comparable size. It has physical controls located directly beneath the center air vents, a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, and storage beneath the center console. The dual-tone interior colorway of Brown and Black is available on the EV9 from Kia.
Kia EV9: Features
The EV9 comes equipped with a conventional 6-seat configuration, including captain’s chairs in the second row. It has characteristics including massaging capabilities, electric adjustability, and leg support that can be adjusted. In addition, there’s a 14-speaker Meridian audio system, OTA updates, the most recent iteration of Kia Connect connected-car technology, a digital inside rear-view mirror, a head-up display, a digital key, vehicle-to-load capability, and much more.
Kia EV9: Powertrain and Battery Range
The 99.8kWh battery pack of the India-spec EV9 drives two electric motors for all-wheel drive. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds thanks to the combined 384 horsepower and 700 Nm of the two electric motors. With ARAI certification, its range is 561 kilometers. A 350kW DC fast charger can fully charge a battery that is between 10 and 80 percent dead in 24 minutes.
