Hyundai has unveiled the new Hyundai Alcazar facelift, with prices for the petrol-MT 7-seater variant starting at Rs 14.99 lakh and the diesel variant starting at Rs 15.99 lakh. With numerous new Creta features, the external and interior appearance of the rebuilt Alcazar have been drastically changed. On the other hand, mechanically, it doesn’t alter. Reservations are available for a nominal fee of Rs 25,000.
There are four trim levels for the new Alca zar: Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Exterior Design
The face of the new Alcazar receives the majority of the modifications. The makeover includes a bigger grille with horizontal slats and H-shaped LED daytime running lamps connected by a light bar. The bumper gives the fascia a chunkier appearance with its larger air inlet encircled by a noticeable silver accent.
Its shape has mostly stayed the same, but it does have new 18-inch alloy wheels and working roof rails. The new full-width taillamps, which have a big H design, resemble those on the Venue from the back. It also has a sporty appearance thanks to the silver highlights on the bumpers.

Nine exterior colors—titan grey matte, starry night, ranger khaki, abyss black, atlas white, robust emerald pearl, robust emerald matte, and fiery red—will be offered for the Alcazar facelift. Of them, eight are monotone. The Robust Emerald Pearl is shared with the Creta, and the remaining three are exclusive to the Alcazar. Only one dual-tone hue is available: Atlas White with a ceiling of Abyss Black. Overall, compared to the Creta, the renovated Alcazar appears more distinct.Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Interior and Features
The 10.25-inch infotainment screens and digital instrument cluster on the Alcazar facelift are identical to those on the Creta. A new dual-tone tan and dark blue colour scheme is also added.
The second-row seat improvements are the more significant ones. Both the 6- and 7-seater versions of the Alcazar are still available. However, Hyundai has removed the fixed centre console between the captain seats of the previous model for the 6-seater version. Since each seat now has its own armrest, there is greater room between them, and moving from the second to the third row is easy. Along with ventilation and adjustable thigh support, the second-row captain seats now include a “boss mode” function that allows the front passenger seat to be folded up from the back to create additional space. Rear sunshades and fold-out tray tables are also included.
The installation of ADAS is a significant improvement in terms of safety. A 360-degree camera, six airbags, ESC, dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers, sequential turn signals, voice-activated panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, wireless charging pads for the front and middle row, leatherette upholstery, Bose sound system, and on-board navigation are among the other highlights of the equipment.
Hyundai Alcazar facelift: Powertrain
With the Alcazar redesign, the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options are still available. The turbo-petrol has a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and it can produce 160 horsepower and 253 Nm. The diesel engine is mated to a 6MT or 6AT transmission, producing 250Nm and 116 horsepower. They are both equipped with front-wheel drive. Like the outgoing model, the SUV also has presets for snow, sand, and mud in its many drive and traction control modes. Paddle shifters are also included in automatic models.
The Mahindra XUV700,Tata Safari, and the Hyundai Alcazar are still competitors.
