Honda had previously lowered the power output to 87 horsepower, probably to help the engine run more smoothly on Indian fuel. The sharper tail section is one of the most apparent design changes Honda made to both bikes for 2025, although the rest of the mechanicals are the same.

The primary feature upgrade on the Honda 650s is the new 5-inch TFT display, which adds Bluetooth connectivity through the Honda RoadSync App. The CB and CBR have two color options: Honda’s signature red and a subdued matte black.

Pricing and Competition

The CB650R, which retails for Rs 9.20 lakh, is significantly more expensive than its main competitor, the Triumph Trident 660 (Rs 8.10 lakh), and it is priced similarly to the larger, more potent Kawasaki Z900 (Rs 9.38 lakh). The fully-faired middleweight CBR650R, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, will go up against the Suzuki GSX-8R, which costs Rs 9.25 lakh, and the Triumph Daytona 660, which costs Rs 9.72 lakh. The far more potent and feature-rich Triumph Street Triple R is only Rs 18,000 more expensive than the CBR. In February, both Honda 650s will start to be delivered.
