Visually, the new Vantage is much more aggressive than its predecessor. It has a massive grille that covers the entire width of the front bumper, new intakes at the corners, and a bolder character line on the bonnet.

In profile, the air vents on the fenders have been slightly modified, and the rear bumper and diffuser are more aggressive. The new Vantage is also 30mm wider, enhancing its overall stance. It also receives new frameless mirrors and flush electronic door handles.

The Vantage follows the DB12’s interior design with an entirely redesigned cockpit layout emphasizing connectivity, interaction, and elegance. The new Vantage loses all of its Mercedes influence and uses a wholly new, in-house-developed infotainment platform. A new 10.25-inch touchscreen running custom software includes 3D live navigation and Bluetooth smartphone mirroring.

Aston Martin Vantage: Powertrain

The new Vantage continues to be powered by the Mercedes-AMG-sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, but output has been increased to 665hp and 800Nm. An 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission transfers power to the back wheels. This makes the basic Vantage as fast as the outgoing V12, with a 0-100kph time of just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 325kph.
