2025 Maruti Eeco

The 2025 Maruti Suzuki Eeco, a new model, receives its significant upgrade in safety with the introduction of six airbags as standard across all trims, up from two previously. It elevates the Eeco to the same level as other Maruti models such as the Alto K10 and those in the Brezza range. Additional safety upgrades for the vehicle include three-point seatbelts for all passengers, pre-tensioners, and force limiters for the front occupant seatbelts. Other existing features like ABS, ESC, EBD, and seatbelt reminders remain unchanged.

Now, along with safety features, the company has also changed the seating configuration of the model. The previous model which had a capacity of 7 passengers is now replaced with two different variants of 6 seats featuring captain seats for second-row passengers. But the 5-seat versions remain unchanged.

2025 Maruti Eeco Interior and Design

The exterior and interior design of the Eeco does not have any significant changes. But there have been minor changes inside, like new fabric upholstery replacing the old PVC material, reclining front seats with outboard supports, new roof liners, and pillar trims that support the new airbag system. In addition, the 5-seat types are now furnished with boot luggage retention devices to prevent luggage movement in case of a collision.

Powertrain

The Eeco continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing a power output of 80hp and a five-speed manual gearbox, with one difference: now it runs on E20 fuel, which means that under new government guidelines, it can run on a mixture of 20 percent ethanol and 80 percent petrol. A 70hp CNG variant is also available but is exclusively attached to the five-seat configurations. New six-seat versions are offered exclusively with the petrol engine.
