Jeep Meridian facelift

Jeep Meridian facelift is now available in India for an exclusive starting price of Rs 24.99 lakh, ex-showroom. In contrast to its predecessor, the redesigned Meridian is available in 5- and 7-seater variants, which has allowed the beginning price to drop by an astounding Rs 6.24 lakh.

The Meridian’s outside has been somewhat modified; chrome studs have replaced the honeycomb mesh in the distinctive seven-slat grille, and the 18-inch alloy wheels resemble the Overland Edition of the vehicle that came before the facelift.

The cabin’s layout remains the same, but the dashboard has been updated with copper stitching and suede, and the seats have been given new beige upholstery. Additionally, a copper-finished strip has replaced the chrome strip that formerly surrounded the dashboard. Along with other creature amenities and technology, the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless charger, nine-speaker Alpine audio system, and ventilated front seats are all retained.

The most significant modification is the addition of the Level 2 ADAS suite to the top-of-the-line Overland trim level. This suite of technologies includes lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, front collision warning with collision mitigation braking, and lane keep assist, among other things. It also receives a longer list of connected auto technologies, such as vehicle integration for Alexa Home

According to Jeep, the new 5-seater models feature a 670-liter boot, while the 7-seater models can accommodate up to 824 liters when the second row is folded down. The 7-seater models offer 170 liters of boot capacity when all three rows are occupied.

The 2.0-liter diesel engine with 170 horsepower and 350 Nm from the outgoing model remains in the facelifted Meridian. In addition to 4×2 and 4×4 versions, there are options for a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic transmission.

There are four trim levels of the updated Meridian: Overland, Limited (O), Longitude, and Longitude Plus. Only the five-seater Longitude trim level is offered; the other trim levels come with both seating configurations. Jeep still needs to release a detailed list of all the prices for all the versions. Starting with the longitude at Rs 24.99 lakh, Longitude Plus – Rs 27.5 lakh, Limited (O) – Rs 30.49 lakh, Overland – Rs 36.49 lakh
