Audi has introduced the latest A6 Avant estate, offering petrol and diesel powertrains alongside three trim levels. This follows the launch of the electric A6 e-tron range, signaling a shift from Audi’s plan to number ICE and EV models separately. The new A6 Avant features improved aerodynamics, sound insulation, and efficiency.
2025 Audi A6 Avant: Design and Exterior
With revised LED headlights, a chequered light signature, bigger air intakes, and a broader black-finished grille, the A6 Avant looks sportier. A full-width light strip and a notable diffuser enhance its strong posture at the rear. The car comes with standard 18-inch alloys, and options in 19-, 20-, and 21-inch sizes are also available.

2025 Audi A6 Avant: Interior
For the top-spec “Edition 1,” Audi has improved the cabin with a 15-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, and an optional 12-inch video screen for the front passenger. Additionally, a head-up display is available. Audi’s “Softwrap” material is used inside, with optional sustainable trimmings. Greater space and comfort come from a longer wheelbase.
2025 Audi A6 Avant: Powertrain
Two engine choices are available: a diesel “TDI” with a 48V mild-hybrid system adding 24 horsepower for increased efficiency and smoother low-speed driving and a 204-horsepower petrol “TFSI.” The diesel gets 0-100 km/h in seven seconds; the petrol model does it in 8.3 seconds.
Three suspension options include the standard arrangement, a sportier variant decreasing ground clearance by ten millimeters (on higher trims), and optional adaptive air suspension with a “Dynamic” mode, lowering the car at greater speeds for improved handling.
Prices and Availability
Currently in production in Germany, the A6 Avant starts in the UK at about 53,000 British pounds; the diesel variant costs 4,000 pounds extra. Prices for the top-spec “Edition 1” diesel range from 65,000 British pounds; orders for it open in early April.
