Mahindra has made the pricing of the 4×4 Thar Roxx versions public. The MX5 MT starts at Rs 18.79 lakh, while the AX7 L AT costs Rs 22.49 lakh. The diesel engine only offers the 4×4 configuration; the petrol engine only has a 4×2 layout.
Mahindra Thar Roxx 4×4: Pricing and Performance
Last month, the 4×2 variants of the Mahindra Thar Roxx were priced between Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 20.49 lakh. This indicates that the 4×4 models are priced between Rs 1.8 and Rs 2 lakh more than the corresponding 4×2 variations, yet they have the same safety kit and features, aside from the 4×4 technology.
The Thar Roxx 4×4 from Mahindra has a single 2.2-liter diesel engine that produces 175 horsepower and 370 Nm of peak torque—meanwhile, the 152 horsepower and 330 Nm versions of this engine power the diesel 4×2 variants.

The Thar Roxx also offers an automatic transmission or manual gearbox with a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine generating 380 Nm of torque and 177 horsepower. Both engines have an optional 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
