Audi RS Q8 Facelift: Exterior & Design

Very little modification has been made to the RS Q8 since its initial release, yet its exterior design surpasses that of the standard Q8. The frontal grille received a black update featuring a three-dimensional honeycomb design, and the front lip and air vents now display carbon fiber details. LED Matrix headlights and OLED tail lights are now part of Audi’s illumination features.

Standard 22-inch alloy wheels are included, but customers can upgrade their package to include 23-inch wheels. Audi has provided no information regarding the option of larger wheel sizes.

Engine Specs & Performance

A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine propels the Performance trim to produce 640 horsepower and 850 Newton meters of torque, with 40 horsepower more while providing 50 Newton meters of torque more significant than the RS Q8 SUV. The Performance version of the RS Q8 achieves acceleration from 0 to 100kph in only 3.6 seconds while its speed reaches beyond 305kph.

The performance capabilities receive additional acceleration benefits through the incorporation of a 48V mild hybrid system. Standard Audi Q8 vehicles use a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that provides 340hp power alongside 500Nm torque.

Rivals & Price Expectations

In the Indian market, the Audi RS Q8 Performance competes against premium sport utility vehicles such as the Lamborghini Urus SE and Porsche Cayenne GTS. Due to its Rs 1.7 crore base price (without options), Audi may set the RS Q8 at around Rs 2 crore in the market.
